Rise and Dcline. Camels arived in Africa from Asia in A. D. 300. In time, commercial teams of thousands of camels loaded with tons of salt arrived at southern markets. Local kings along the trade routes put taxes, which were pay able in gold, on all goods crossing their empires.
The ancient empires of Mali and Ghana rose to great power from wealth brought by the salt trade.
Trade routes also provided ways for spreading ideas and inventions. By the A. D. 800s, Arab traders brought to Africa n sy stem of weights and measures, a writen language, and the concept of money. Although salt no longer dominates trade, it is used as a seasoning throughout the world.

We fail to foresee and provide for the resources we need for the activities we've planned, leading to delays and cancellations. Life in the 21st century is challenging our ability to maintain work-life balance like no other time before. With technology allowing more work hours as well as more entertainment options than ever, we no longer seem to find 24 hours enough to fit in everything we need and want to do in a day. With such demands and lifestyles, poor time management has become normal, and good time management is a superpower only the enlightened have seemed to master.
And if we can't even manage our time when it comes to our day -to-day tasks, how could we expect to find time to follow through on our bigger life plans?

Getting to know these characters makes readers more empathetic, which is when someone is able to understand another person 's feelings. Although non-fiction books give readers the facts, fiction can bring timc periods and historical events to life.
No-nothing beats fascinating facts
The American writer Mark Twain once wrote, "Truth is stranger than fiction, but it is because fiction is obliged to stick to possibilities; truth isn't". What he meant was that some times the reality of what happens is far more interesting than any made -up story. A good non-fiction book can be just as exciting and emotional as a novel Non-fiction is also far more relevant to people's lives. Although it's nice to escape to a far-off land, non-fiction books can help readers make sense of the world around them. If knowledge is power, then non-fiction books are the most powerful books of them all. Non-fiction books aren't spoiled by knowing the ending either, and they will always be a useful point of reference in the future.
