原因狀語從句

1.定義

原因狀語從句（Adverbial Clause of Cause），屬于狀語從句中的一種。指在句中用來說明主句原因的從句。

2、分類

讓步狀語從句的引導(dǎo)詞主要有：

①because/since/as

because引導(dǎo)原因狀語從句表達(dá)一種充分理由，因果關(guān)系明顯，語氣較重，可回答why引導(dǎo)的問句。

例如：We went by bus because it was cheaper.

我們乘公交汽車去，因?yàn)檫@樣便宜一些。

注意：漢語習(xí)慣上說“因?yàn)椤浴?，但英語習(xí)慣上卻不能將so與because連用。

since引導(dǎo)原因狀語從句指已知的很顯然的原因，通常被翻譯成“既然”，語氣比because弱，較為正式，不能用來回答why引導(dǎo)的問句。

例如：Since you don't trust him, you should not employ him.

你既然不信任他，你就不該雇用他。

as，表示雙方都知道的原因，語氣比since弱，較為正式，常放于主句之前。

例如：As you are tired, you had better rest.

既然累了， 你最好休息一下。

②in that表示“因?yàn)?，既然”，和because, since同義，從句和主句在邏輯上是直接的因果關(guān)系。從句可置于句首。

例如：I’m in a slightly awkward position in that he’s not arriving until 10th.

我的處境有點(diǎn)尷尬，因?yàn)樗绞柌艁怼?/p>

③其他引導(dǎo)原因狀語的詞組還有：now that, seeing that, considering that等。

例如：Now that he hasn’t fully recovered yet, it will not be proper to assign him such a hard job. 

既然他的身體還沒有完全恢復(fù)，指派他干這樣的難事不適宜。

Seeing that nobody was very enthusiastic about it，they decided to cancel the trip．

由于沒有人有此熱情，他們決定取消這次遠(yuǎn)足。

Considering that Tom is so young, that he cannot lead the project.

考慮到湯姆太年輕，他不能領(lǐng)導(dǎo)這個(gè)項(xiàng)目。
