41.Plastic pollution is the most serious and dangerous pollution in the world right now.

According to a 2016 report by the Ellen MacArthur (艾倫●麥克阿瑟) Foundation, there would be more plastic than fish in the seas by 2050. It was estimated that eight million tons of plastics enter oceans annually.

Governments around the globe are increasingly taking measures to curb the menace of disposable plastis. Indonesia, for example, has pledged to reduce plastic waste in its waters some 70 percent by 2025. One of the smart solutions is to boost recycling. In the city of Surabaya (泗水), one can see dozens of passengers queue at a busy bus terminal with bags . full of plastic bttles and disposable cups in their hands. This is because they can swap trash for travel tickets.
