WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF THERE WERE NO ELECTRICITY

Ever since early this century, electricity has been playing an essential role in our modern life.

Take modern buildings for example, it is electricity that lights rooms and makes such modern wonders as TV sets, refrigerators and air-conditioners work. More important is, it is electricity that pushes elevators&running water up skyscrapers.No doubt ,it plays a part in our modern life as the role blood does in human body.

If there were no electricity, our modern life would be badly crippled. Without electricity, all modern wonders would be reduced to uselessness. Without elevators, running water, communications, lights and air-conditioners in certain areas, skyscrapers and other modern buildings would be unfit for people to live in for lack of electricity. In brief, there would be no electricity-based modern life.

Therefore, we should on the one hand save as much electricity as possible, on the other hand utilize more source of electricity
